Agro-Industrial Process Engineering Laboratory

Agro-Industrial Process Engineering Laboratory is one of the laboratories in Department of Agroindustrial Technology. The establishment of this laboratory almost coincided with the establishment of the department, since 1998. At that time the department of Agroindustrial Technology only had three laboratories, one of which was the Process Engineering and Production System Laboratory. This laboratory oversees practicum and research for students who are interested in studying Technology. In 2007, the name was changed to the Agrochemical Technology Laboratory. At this time the research topics developed lead to the planning design and development of process technology to increase added value, multiple-scale studies, development of new materials and products in the agro-industry sector.

Currently, the Agro-Industrial Process Engineering Laboratory oversees several courses including Knowledge of Agroindustrial Materials, Operations and Process Units, Process Engineering and Optimization, and Factory Design.
